When did you start doing Nordic Combined and what was your motivation for it?
Kaimar: I started Nordic Combined when I was 3 years old. My first time going downhill was actually when I was 2 years old, and it was with my father (going down the slope not jumping). Apparently I liked the speed and it was fun.
Do you have a role model?
Kaimar: Right now my role model in Nordic Combined is Johannes Rydzek and in Ski Jumping my role model is Johann André Forfang.
Please tell something about yourself! What kind of person are you?
Kaimar: I am a 11 year old young athlete and go to 4th grade. In school I am a good student and everything is going good. I really enjoy my sports. I have the best training companions and the best trainers. I really enjoy it. I have many friends, with whom on my free time I play football with and go out with our scooters. I like to listen to heavy music and I have a really nice family. My older sister, mother and father support me in my doings. They are my background supporters.
What are your hobbies that you like to do in your free time?
Kaimar: In my free time I like to play disc golf, football, ride my bicycle and do other stuff like that. But whatever I do, it always tends to be somehow connected to sports.
What are your thoughts on the last winter? What do you think about the season, are you satisfied with your results?
Kaimar: Last season was a good season. One of the best seasons I've had actually. I am really satisfied with it.
Do you have any routines at the competitions?
Kaimar: My routine is my usual warm-up that gives me time to concentrate on what I have to do.
What was the best achievement of your career so far and what the biggest disappointment?
Kaimar: My careers best achievements are my last seasons achievements when I won the Hopeasompa (the Finnish championships for young athletes) and when I won the cup in the 14 year olds age class. A disappointment in my career has been the 2016/2017 seasons Hopeasompa competition that went completely wrong in every way.
What are your goals as a sportsman in general and for the next season?
Kaimar: For the next season my goal is to succeed in the in the Finnish cup in the 16 year olds age class. And my aim is to become the worlds best ski jumper and also make a world record in ski jumping.
